I ordered to go. The food is very good. I was impressed. If you are in that area you must try. I order bistec a la mexicana and it was delicious.

I am not sure where all the other reviewers went but I don't think it was here. The quality was horrible. The waitress said they didn't have half of what their menu said they had and they raised their prices but didn't change the menus or bother telling us. The waitress was extremely rude and the items were not anything like what the menu described. I HAVE HAD BETTER FOOD AT TACO BELL AND I HATE TACO HELL. Definitely won't recommend this place.

A pretty decent taqueria with a decent size menu. Unfortunately it is attached to something called a motel where the worse derelicts seem to hang out. Too bad the servings and price of this place was better than many others in the areas. The marinated pork burrito excellent

This place reminds me of a traditional mexican kitchen. Nothing fancy. . Plastic table cloths.. colorful. clean. The menu us extensive from tacos to fried red snapper, gorditas, chiles rellenos, and chicarones. The prices are good for what you get. We just moved to the area.. and we have been looking for a place that was traditional mexican food, clean and good prices.p.s. the price in my pic says 7.50 for the steak breakfast. . It's actually 8.99..

Yeeahh, this is more like it. And I can safely say that I wont be eating again today, cause I over-indulged on the cheap at Los 2 Compadres for lunch. A cute little authentic Mexican restaurant surrounded by tattered motels on a street with some of the ugliest crack-hookers known to man. On the mission for a late afternoon lunch for the roommate and I, I wanted to go to someplace new, or in this case a place I haven't been to in a real long time. I pat myself on the back for finding this artery-clogging goodness. While it may not be spectacular, it's good, plentiful and cheap. Here's a rundown of what I ordered: 2 Steak Burrito Dinners (arroz y frijoles) 1 Nachos Especial (w/ steak) 3 Tacos Al Pastor Total: $22 It doesn't sound like a lot of food, but the portion sizes were huge. The nachos could be a meal in itself. I have the comfort of knowing that if I come home in a drunk stooper tonight, I have leftovers!

dumpy lookin place outside but okay inside. my bff & i tried this place cuz we had a coupon but it turns out they didnt even accept the coupon. oh well, the food we ordered was pretty cheap anyway so it didnt matter. i ordered 2 steak tacos & 1 al pastor taco. the steak tacos were good but i didnt really care for al pastor. i just didnt enjoy the taste to it. my bff got a chicken chimichanga & it was okay too. the food wasn't spectacular but it wasn't horrible either. just an okay place. theres much better mexican restaurants that i've had so i'll go to those places instead.

Great place! Great value, great food. I used to eat here once a week because I worked close. Now I go out of my way to return. The young man that runs the place is amazingly helpful, quick, and accommodating. My favorite is simple steak tacos. I order them with just cilantro and onions and they are always spot on.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
